Whaddaya Know?

Howdy, My name is Tommy, im 23, and I'll be your host here at "Whaddaya Know?"

I've been told in the past that i have good taste in movies, games, and books, so I decided to see if anyone else but my family and friends thought so.

A bit about me: I have an overdeveloped sense of irony and the ridiculous, and an appreciation for both. I'm the fellow who you hear in the movie theatre laughing at odd moments in the film, often the ONLY person laughing at that moment. My sense of humor ranges from irony to base puns, as best exemplified by Piers Anthony's Xanth series.  My life revolves around the 4 neccessities (one might say the "bear" neccessities): Sleep, Food, Entertainment, and, who can forget, the infamous "Work"(dun-dun-dun!).

Sleep usually comes to me in fits and starts, as its only a means to an end, e.g. I sleep so I can focus more on my entertainment, and work.

Food is good. What else must I say?

Work is for getting the foods and the entertainments.

And lastly, but never (in my opinion) least, Entertainment.

Entertainment for me falls into a few simple categories: Movies, Video Games, and Books. I include T.V. shows into the "movies" category, because I mostly watch T.V. from DVDs, or as I like to call them, "doovdee" (lookit up on youtube, its mildly amusing). I plan on commenting on just about everything i read or see, so hold onto your horses.

If a show, movie, game or song connects with you, gives you chills, makes you think, makes you cry, makes you laugh, you feel the need to share that experience with others, and that is my main motivation for this page, noble or base, its a helluva ride and i hope you come along and enjoy it as much as i do.
